High tide best. Spinning for pollack and mackerel (in summertime) and float fishing for wrasse. Bottom angling for conger eel.

Can be fished at any stage of the tide.Go to the southeastern point of the island for ottom angling in muddy channel for bull huss, thornback ray, dogfish and flounder.

Crab bait crucial here and fish the rising tide. Good bottom angling for flounder from the quayside.

Conger eel after dark. Low tide to half flood optimal stage for fishing here. Bottom angling from the beach on to clean/patchy ground for flatfish, dogfish, and wrasse. Sea bass and mullet can be caught around hot water outlet from power plant.

Small conger eel after dark. Inner pier fishes best on rising tide and highwater for flounder, dabs, plaice and dogfsh.
